Am 5. und 6. April fand in Bad Hersfeld die Bezirkskonferenz der nordhessischen Jungsozialist*innen statt, an der wir Jusos aus Kassel-Stadt mit 12 Mitgliedern teilnahmen.
Samstag, 5. April 2014: Jugendherberge Bad Hersfeld
Um 12.30 Uhr trafen wir uns am Auestadion in Kassel, um gemeinsam die Fahrt nach Bad Hersfeld anzutreten. Gegen 13.30 Uhr kamen wir in der Jugendherberge an und bezogen unsere Zimmer. Um 14.30 Uhr begannen die Arbeitsgruppenphasen zur Antragsberatung, in denen wir alle eingereichten Anträge auf formale Richtigkeit überprüften und die Änderungsanträge unseres Unterbezirks einbringen konnten. Diese füllten dann den ersten Tag der Bezirkskonferenz mit einer Kaffeepause um 16 Uhr bis zum Abendessen um 18 Uhr. Direkt nach dem Abendessen ging es in die Verbandsdebatte mit dem neuen Staatsminister im Auswärtigen Amt, Michael Roth, bei der wir größtenteils über das Verhältnis der EU zu Russland und die zukünftigen Schritte in der Krim-Krise diskutierten.
Nach der Diskussion sammelten wir uns um 20.30 Uhr zum gemütlichen Teil des Abends, nämlich unserer traditionellen Kneipentour.
Sonntag, 6. April 2014: Stadthalle Bad Hersfeld
Am nächsten Morgen ging es motiviert in die Stadthalle, die neben der Jugendherberge liegt. Um 9.45 Uhr war unsere Delegation vollständig zur Delegiertenvorbesprechung anwesend. Nach einer entspannten Vorbesprechung nahmen wir unsere Plätze an dem dafür vorgesehen Tisch ein. Die Bezirkskonferenz stand dieses Jahr unter dem Motto: „Solidarisch. Gerecht. Offen. Europa kann mehr!“
Um 10 Uhr eröffnete der Bezirksvorsitzende Oliver Schmolinski die Konferenz und leitete uns durch die Konstituierung. Ab 10.15 Uhr hielten unsere Gäste Torsten Warnecke (SPD-Unterbezirksvorsitzender Hersfeld-Rotenburg und MdL), Elke Künholz (Erste Kreisbeigeordnete des Landkreises Hersfeld-Rotenburg), Tabea Heipel (Juso-Unterbezirksvorsitzende Hersfeld-Rotenburg) und Siegfried Richter (Vorsitzender der AG 60+ Hessen-Nord) ihre Grußworte.
Nach dem Rechenschaftsbericht und der folgenden einstimmigen Entlastung des Bezirksvorstandes hielt unsere Europakandidatin Martina Werner hochmotiviert ein sehr gutes Referat mit dem Titel: „Soziale Gerechtigkeit für Europa. Unser sozialdemokratisches Konzept für die Europäische Union 2014 bis 2019“ und unsere scheidende Europaabgeordnete Barbara Weiler verabschiedete sich von den Delegierten.
Passend zum Thema brachte Oliver Schmolinski für den Bezirksvorstand den europapolitischen Antrag ein und wir führten bis zur Mittagspause um 13 Uhr eine sehr engagierte und sachliche Debatte über die sechs europapolitischen Anträge.
Nach einem sehr guten Mittagessen starteten wir alle gestärkt in die Beratung der weiteren Anträge und die Vorstandswahlen. Besonders freuen wir uns darüber, dass unser Kasseler Juso Oliver Schmolinski mit 93,22% wieder zum Bezirksvorsitzenden gewählt wurde.
Gegen 17.30 Uhr beendete der alte und neue Vorsitzende gemeinsam mit dem stellvertretenden Bezirksvorsitzenden und Bundesausschussmitglied Marcel Brückmann mit dem Singen der Internationalen eine erfolgreiche Konferenz.
Für alle Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer aus Kassel-Stadt war es eine eindrucksvolle Bezirkskonferenz und wir waren gerne dabei.
