Werkstattgespräch der Kasseler Jusos war voller Erfolg
Die Juso-Veranstaltung „Bissig! – Junge Politik für Kassel“, die letzten Donnerstag unter der Fragestellung „Wie stellst Du Dir das Leben in Kassel im Jahr 2016 vor?“ stattfand, war aus Sicht der Kasseler Jusos ein voller Erfolg. Neben SchülerInnen- und Studierenden-VertreterInnen nahmen unter anderem auch Jugendbildungsreferenten der Gewerkschaften teil, um gemeinsam an Zukunftsvisionen für Kassel zu arbeiten.
Schnell stellten sich in der Diskussion die wichtigsten Themenbereiche des Abends heraus. Neben Bildung und dem Universitätsstandort Kassel waren es vor allem die Bereiche Mobilität und Arbeit, die die Anwesenden beschäftigten. „Wir haben in einer konstruktiven Atmosphäre viele wichtige Anregungen aufnehmen können, die unsere bisherigen Überlegungen und Forderungen ergänzen und für die wir uns im Programmprozess der Kasseler SPD einsetzen werden.“, sagt die Kasseler Juso-Vorsitzende Sabine Wurst, die zudem von den Kasseler Jusos für die Stadtverordnetenversammlung vorgeschlagen wurde. Hierzu zählen unter anderem die Frage von Schuleinzugsgebieten, die Möglichkeit kommunaler Schulsozialarbeit, die bessere Kombination von Individual- und Öffentlichen Personennahverkehr oder auch die Verbundenheit der Stadt Kassel mit der Universität.
Vor allem für die GewerkschaftsvertreterInnen war der Bereich Arbeit und Ausbildung ein wichtiger. Hierzu hielt Sebastian Mater, der ebenfalls von den Jusos für die Stadtverordnetenversammlung nominiert wurde, fest, dass die Stadt Kassel vor allem über die eigene Ausbildungs- und Übernahmequote sowie der konsequenten Förderung von erneuerbaren Energien Potentiale für den Arbeits- und Ausbildungsmarkt geben könne, darüber hinaus sei natürlich die Privatwirtschaft gefragt.
„In Zukunft werden wir definitiv öfter den Kontakt mit unseren gesellschaftlichen Bündnispartnern und der jungen Kasseler Öffentlichkeit suchen, um gemeinsam für unsere politischen Projekte zu kämpfen“, führt Sabine Wurst in der Nachbetrachtung der Veranstaltung aus.
